Summary of Stages
* Cellphones: Through group technology such as cellphones, Mass communication is possible through cellphones. Those who have access to the technology are connected, those who do not are not connected.
* Video Games: Integrated technologies- videogame systems include internet access and the two technologies combine to create new social environments. Before you had to physically be wiht someone to play a videogame with them, today you can play with someone on the other side of the world.
The "Have Not's" live more primitively then those that are digitally connected. They are a group which is made up of the underpriviledged, elderly, primitive societies of people. They also represent the generation gap.
The ability to narrow the digital divide involves bringing economically underdeveloped countries more modern technologies.

What it means:
represent the populace disconnected from the digital world. Also representing where we came from. The homeless people and primitive people are "under priviledged"/ Homeless people are those that were skipped over by digital opportunity (left behind) while primitive countries are the untapped resources. Third world, industrilization is key here. We live in the first world they live in the third world. The digital divide is related to custom, wealth. We are all accustomed to using computers and those that are not are intimidated by them and represent the generation gap.
starting young in underdeveloped third world countries. bridging the generation gap and diffwerent cultures and different age groups. different applicatuions for keeping them availiable and in touch.. religion and technology. creating advancements in medicine.
